Senior Integration Specialist

As integration specialist at Randstad Groep Nederland IT you play an integral role in innovating and optimising our processes and way of working. As we continue to move towards a more internationally connected tech environment and build new global platforms, our integration team continues to grow.

You will join the Integration and Automation team, consisting of business analysts, developers and led by an IT service manager. Together, you are responsible for connecting external applications and clients with the internal applications (securely!). 

The team works in an agile way, and is responsible for the continued development of (micro)service applications and integrations between RGN systems, client systems and SaaS platforms.

  • You work closely with many of the other 35 teams within RGN IT to deliver high quality solutions. Even more importantly, you make sure these solutions are able to work together and form a cohesive application environment.
  • When things go wrong, you know how to find out exactly why, where and how to fix it.
  • You take responsibility for a full development cycle, from idea to implementation.
  • You also challenge your team members to think further, to improve processes and continually optimize. 

What we look for:

  • a minimum of 5 year experience in a similar role
  • experience with API management and ESB tooling such as WSO2, Mulesoft, Apigee or similar (we work with WSO2 primarily, but are open to a wide range of experience)
  • good understanding of (micro)service integration technologies (web services, JSON, REST, SOAP, API governance)
  • experience working with Linux, DevOps, CI/CD(Git, Jenkins)
  • you understand that technology does not exist in a vacuum and can also look at solutions with a business perspective

Additionally it would be nice if:

  • you have some experience coding in an object oriented language (we work primarily with Java and some Python)
  • you feel at home in a cloud environment, AWS experience is advantageous
  • you are familiar with an agile way of working and devops principles
  • you have the drive to develop not just solutions, but also yourself and are interested in new, open source technologies
  • apart from development, you are also interested in learning more about architecture, test automation and continuous delivery

Op gesprek

De talent acquisition specialist gaat verder met jou in gesprek over de functie, het team en ons bedrijf. Daarnaast zijn wij benieuwd naar wie jij bent en naar wat jouw talenten zijn. Dit gesprek kan zowel op kantoor als online plaatsvinden.

Op tweede gesprek

Het tweede gesprek is in ieder geval met jouw toekomstige manager. Zo krijg je nog meer beeld en gevoel bij jouw werkplek. Vaak zit hier nog een tweede persoon bij en die persoon is afhankelijk van de vacature en afdeling. Soms is dit met een andere manager, een collega uit het team of een andere talent acquisition specialist. We zijn al overtuigd van jouw talenten, maar we willen samen echt kijken welke plek het beste bij jou past!
