We are living in an era that is dominated by data; our data is collected and stored everywhere. As a result, privacy and security have become immensely important. Especially here at Randstad. Our Security team ensures that our data as well as that of our clients and flex workers is and remains safe, making it an indispensable asset within our IT department and organization as a whole. 
Within the umbrella organization Randstad Group Netherlands (Randstad, Tempo-Team, and Yacht), we have extensive experience and expertise in the field of information security. Our Security team’s vision is to expand this experience and expertise on an international scale. This will increase Randstad’s overall security level worldwide and ensure that we can be and remain a trusted partner for our clients and flex workers.

Our IT department works in a multi-cloud environment based on AWS and Google, among others. We primarily develop in Java and Python. Without giving all our secrets away, the Security team also works in Elastic Stack:

As a cyber security specialist, you are a member of our IT department’s Security Operations team. This team is driven by ambition and is responsible for cyber security at the Randstad Group Netherlands (monitoring, testing, and compliance). The team lives and breathes a hacker mindset. By continuously asking themselves the key question “How can this be used differently?”, they pull out all the stops to stay one step ahead of potential hackers. 

Our IT department is based at the heart of our organization, at our head office in Diemen (near Amsterdam). Here, the Security team even has its own secure workplace. We work both from home and at the office. It is up to you and your team to decide how you divide your time between these options.

​​​​​​​Our security specialists have varying backgrounds. Whether you’re a keen hacker in your free time or are many years into a security career, most important to us is a high level of critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as a passion for cyber security. Additionally you should have at least a conversational level of Dutch.
