As java developer at randstad your role can vary. Java is a core part of many of our 36 scrum teams, giving you the opportunity to contribute to a large number of different applications and projects. No matter which of those you choose to work on, it all starts with a close collaboration between developers, tech leads, product owners and business analysts. End-user centric development informs all of our technological decisions, giving you the opportunity to translate real world problems into solutions. 

Working agile and according to devops also means we are continuously improving and deploying. Whether you are adding a new filter in elasticsearch, phasing out legacy software in favour of new microservices or building an improved candidate portal in bloomreach. You have a direct line to our cloud and infrastructure services team. You’re deploying a new feature but the left server is still not doing what you want? No worries, the cloud team is just a google chat away.

You like large scale change and innovation, as well as greenfield projects? Great! Some of our developers are currently building the new foundations of our back-office processes, giving you the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to shape this. Back-office sounds boring? Think again - our developers navigate a complex web of personal data, compliancy and legislation. Layers of variables that need to be processed in a way that a very real human has their salary paid out, their pension paid into and their holiday allowance allocated.
