Global Financial Reporting (GFR) is responsible for the timely, accurate and complete external and internal financial reporting of the Randstad Group based on IFRS. To ensure this, GFR analyses and reviews monthly and quarterly reporting of operating companies, takes care of the consolidation process and related systems, implements changes in IFRS accounting policies and trains, supports and educates financial staff of operating companies. Global Financial reporting consist of 15 colleagues. 


 

your typical day includes

As a Manager Global Financial Reporting, you ensure an efficient and smooth global financial reporting process and related internal and external reports against the highest quality possible supporting all stakeholders at both operating company and corporate level. 


 

      Consolidate at corporate level the financial information of all operating companies (400 opcos, in 40 countries)

        Review the reporting of subsidiaries on a monthly basis

        Deliver high quality internal, external and ad hoc reports based on the consolidation system

        Develop webinars for financial staff on key topics such as revenue recognition, lease-accounting and closing process

        Develop, maintain and implement financial accounting procedures, processes and systems.

        Advice and support operating companies in accounting & reporting through operating company visits and other direct contacts

        Identify functional requirements for the consolidation system, contribute to the development of the (financial) KPI’s and how to translate this into steering information

        Identify areas where robotics or automation can be used to further streamline the consolidation process and implement these changes

        Deal with questions from internal and external auditors

        Maintain the Finance Manual based on internal and external developments.

your background

        Academic working and thinking level, obtained relevant Master (RA/CPA)

  • 4 – 6 years in an international environment, preferable (“big 4”) audit firm.

        Ready for next step in career.

        Applied understanding of IFRS, specific knowledge of financial reporting & consolidation processes and accounting policies

        Additional language skills (French, Spanish, German) is a pré.
